This is a waste of money. Nobody even goes into South Bend anymore or looks at the buses. But your donations to better use. Feed the poor in South Bend. Just a thought.

Mass transit is supported by our tax dollars, so I don't believe
either a pro God or pro atheist message should be on the bus.
Atheism can also be considered a religion by some, so if you
support separation of church and state this should not be
on govt supported buses.

I am an agnostic, and find both the concept of religion and the concept of atheism arrogant....really, who knows? But the promise of an everafter drives religion, and you just can't mess with someone's everafter, and that's why people have historically been against atheism. The desire for eternal life is a selfish, deeply human one, and atheism mnakes the religious folk question it, and boy, that is not a comfortable place for them to be. And, lastly, what makes atheists think they are right? Who really knows? NOBODY. NOT YET. MAYBE SOMEDAY.

One thing you must keep in mind is that Indiana recognized God as an actual entity and HIs power of the free exercise of our rights:

TO THE END, that justice be established, public order maintained, and liberty perpetuated; WE, the People of the State of Indiana, grateful to ALMIGHTY GOD for the free exercise of the right to choose our own form of government, do ordain this Constitution.

I applaud your right to believe (or not believe) and practice those rights. I don't agree with the message you are sending but I'll defend your right to send it. You see, I am a minister of God's word and if you sum up all He has told us it boils down to one thing. You lead people into the kingdom of Heaven, you don't push them there. You take your road and I'll take mine and never the twain shall meet (but that doesn't mean you don't have the right to your road.) Our choices are our own and it is those choices we live and die by. I know what I believe and it is a personal choice. The same will be for you. We'll both reap the rewards or suffer the punishments for our actions in the end. Good luck in your quest. I hope that you find what your looking for at the end of your road.

I also love this particular message. Of the dozens of various atheist campaign messages, I like this one the best.

Religions try to maintain a stranglehold on goodness and morality despite them having such a bad record on these issues.
