The Start of a New Campaign
We’re pleased to announce the start of the Indiana Atheist Bus Campaign. You might have a few questions already. What is it, and why start it?
The Campaign’s goal is to run with the success and momentum generated by a similar campaign in the UK by Ariane Sherine to purchase advertising on public buses in support of atheism. There has also been a successful campaign by the Canada Freethought Association. Our goal is the same as theirs; spread the word about atheism. Who are some famous atheists? Why aren’t they so bad after all? The answers to these questions should be out there for all to see.
Once advertisements begin running, we hope that it will spark major discussions about religion in this country.
We’ve already started collecting small donations; online donating will be available very soon!
